Terms of service
These terms are a starting draft and must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction before launch.
1. What DealFinder is
DealFinder is an information service. We monitor publicly available listings on third-party marketplaces, estimate what listed items may be worth to resell, and present that analysis to you.
2. What DealFinder is not
- We are not a marketplace, auctioneer, broker, or payment provider.
- We never place bids, make offers, buy, or sell anything on your behalf.
- We never contact buyers or sellers for you, and we never publish listings for you.
- We are not a party to any transaction you enter into. Your contract is with the marketplace and the seller.
Every deal we show links to the original listing. To buy anything, you leave DealFinder and act in your own account, under that marketplace's terms.
3. Estimates are not guarantees
Resale values, days-to-sell, profit figures and deal scores are AI-generated estimates. See our AI disclosure. They are not appraisals, valuations, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for your purchasing decisions and for any loss arising from them.
4. Third-party listing data
Listing information originates from third-party marketplaces and remains theirs. We show a limited extract — title, headline attributes, images and a shortened description — alongside our own analysis, and always link back to the source. We do not provide bulk access to, or redistribution of, any third-party database. We do not show you sellers' personal details.
5. Your account
You must be at least 18. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account. Do not scrape, resell, or systematically extract our analysis.
6. Subscription, payment and withdrawal
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, without giving a reason. Use “Withdraw and refund” on your billing page, or email us. After that period you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period.
7. Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Listing data depends on third-party sources that may change or become unavailable without notice.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on our estimates, from any transaction you enter into, or from the condition, authenticity or legality of any item. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the account page; this erases your data and cancels any active subscription. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
10. Governing law
Belgian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
